Desde la d\u00e9cada de los 60 del siglo pasado, el liderazgo es un tema recurrente en el \u00e1mbito de la Administraci\u00f3n. Inicialmente, se abord\u00f3 desde la perspectiva del l\u00edder y su estilo personal (Blacke &amp; Mouthon, 1964). Posteriormente, surgi\u00f3 la noci\u00f3n de liderazgo como una transacci\u00f3n en la que el l\u00edder ofrec\u00eda un liderazgo adaptado a las caracter\u00edsticas de cada trabajador (Hersey &amp; Blanchard, 1969).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el tiempo, se exploraron diversas perspectivas, como el liderazgo y la toma de decisiones (Vroom &amp; Jago, 1973), el liderazgo funcional (Adair, 1973), el liderazgo cultural (Schein, 1985), el liderazgo efectivo (Kouses &amp; Posner, 1987), el liderazgo orientado al servicio (Greenleaf, 1970, y Spears, 1998), entre otras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abraham Zaleznik (1966) identific\u00f3 dos estilos de liderazgo: el transaccional y el que posteriormente se desarrollar\u00eda como &#8216;liderazgo transformacional&#8217;. Este tipo de liderazgo lo propuso por James Burns en 1978 y posteriormente Bass y Avolio desarrollaron el &#8216;Modelo de Liderazgo Transformacional&#8217; para medirlo en 1985, realizando ajustes en 1990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este siglo, ha surgido una nueva propuesta: el liderazgo ambidextro, considerado especialmente relevante para las organizaciones en la Sociedad 5.0.
